For the past 2 months my husband and I have been super busy with our home remodeling and landscaping projects, and one of the items that we desperately needed was a new garden hose. Well, today’s review item is the Tuff-Guard The Perfect Garden Hose and let me tell you, it is perfect!
Our old garden hose was about 6 years old and was super heavy. Not only that, it would constantly kink up and spring leaks. It was absolutely terrible and I was tired of dealing with it. I was super excited when our new kink-free garden hose arrived that I had to immediately get it hooked up!

My Thoughts: The first thing that impressed me about this garden hose is the simple fact that it’s super light-weight and I mean light-weight! As some of you know, I have had a lot of medical problems and I am not allowed to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs. This hose is so light-weight that I can drag it all over our yard and never get tired of holding it.
The next thing I love about this hose is that it’s a kink-free hose! I took this hose all over our front & back yards and it did not kink off! Nope, not one single time! Trust me folks, I put this hose through the ringer over the weekend by spraying down our vinyl siding, our windows, our deck, porch etc. I even used it to water our backyard garden. I love that it’s kink-free!
Finally, I have a hose reel attached to the back of our house and our old hose was a real “bear” to try to get wound up on that hose reel. Well, this Tuff-Guard Hose is light-weight and flexible and within seconds I had it nicely wound up onto our hose reel! Trust me, not all garden hoses go onto the hose reels easily. This one does!
Now you might be thinking to yourselves that this PERFECT HOSE would be expensive but it’s not! You can find the 50 ft. “The Perfect Garden Hose” at several retailers across the nation and online for around $45.00 and trust me, it’s worth every dime! We love this hose so much that we want to get another 50 ft. “The Perfect Garden Hose” to attach to it so that we would have a super long one to use! This is one FABULOUS garden hose!
