Updating My Husband’s Work Clothing Wardrobe

My husband has been watching his weight all year by eating healthy foods and by getting a lot of physical exercise. He started his new weightloss and exercise program on January 2nd and to date, he is lost 27 lbs! He has become a fitness fantastic and we are really proud of his progress.

All of his work clothing is now too big, so this weekend I will be treating him to a few new Dickies Clothing items. He just loves the Dickies brand as it is built to last and will hold up to the abuse he puts them through while working out in the field.

Matter of fact, we purchased him a new Dickies wardrobe 2 years ago and those items are still in great condition, so he will probably donate them to one of his employees once I replace his wardrobe with some new pants and shirts that fit him.

I think I have told you all before that my hubby is service manager for a very large 640+ unit apartment and townhouse community. He has his electrician’s license, his HVAC license, Plumbers license and I am not sure what else. With that said, his clothing and uniforms get a major workout when he is out doing service calls and repairs.

Many times when he comes home from work, he is completely covered in dirt, grease and debris from doing his repair jobs. Other brands we have bought over the years just didn’t hold up to the wear-and-tear that he puts clothing through, so we have become a Dickies household in regards to his clothing of choice.

Anyway, this weekend we will be doing some shopping and I am excited to get him some new work clothes that actually fit him! It is always nice when we can “treat” our husbands to some new work clothes!
