For the past few weeks I have been telling you all about the various home remodeling projects we are doing over at the house my husband and I purchased 2 1/2 years ago. We are not living in the home but are hoping to move into it later this summer.
Today’s company is called Sassy Switches and they sell decorative switch plates for your light switches and outlets. In my personal opinion, this is a great inexpensive way to really coordinate a theme’d look in a room and all of their designs are just beautiful.
When you shop at Sassy Switches you will find angel switchplates, art deco wall plates, baby nursery wallplates, bathroom switchplates, sports wall plates, western wall plates and so much more! I really love how vast their selection is!
The company sent us 2 light switch plate covers to review for all of you. The first is a Purple & Pink Butterfly Switchplate that is just way too cute! It comes packaged in a clear cello bag and includes the 2 mounting screws. The design features an all-over print of purple, pink, orange, blue and lime green butterflies in a whimsical style. It was designed by artist Karyn Servin.
You can get this design in single switch, double switch and combo combinations along with matching outlet covers. I think it is adorable and once we get our grand daughter’s playroom remodeled and painted, this switch plate will be proudly hung in her playroom. Super cute!
The second one that we received is the Neon Bubbles Switch Plate which is a really versatile design. It comes packaged just like the first one in a cello bag with the 2 little mounting screws. The design features an all-over bubbles and swirls print and it’s done in the art deco style. It is made up of various yellows, blues, greens and a little bit of brick red for it’s color scheme.
You can get this design in single switch, double switch & combo combinations along with matching outlet covers. It’s bright and colorful without being “in your face” if you know what I mean. I was thinking about putting this one in our guest bathroom when we move but hubby has claimed it for his study/den. Shucks! He said it’s a great unisex design and perfect for that particular room.
I didn’t have him install our new switchplates yet because they are still hanging the drywall and then it will need to be painted. I am looking forward to that getting done so we can hang our new beautiful switch plates! yeah!
