Our Review: TruKid sent us 2 products to review for all of you. First up, we received the TruKid Sunny Days Sport SPF 30+ Unscented, Water Resistant Lotion to review for you. This product comes packaged in a 2 fl. oz. squeeze tube so it’s the perfect size to toss in your handbag, diaper bag or tote bag.
The all-natural, mineral, non-chemical sunscreen gives you UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Protection. It is water resistant and is unscented so you don’t have to worry about any funky fragrances in your child’s sunscreen. This is the sunscreen that you need for this spring and summer, especially if you are planning some time at the beach, lake or at the swimming pool.
It is really easy to use…simply apply it all over the body and face before going out and the protection is immediate. You should reapply it every 80 minutes or if playing in or near water, reapply it every 40 minutes to maintain the protection. The product is made in the U.S.A. and has a really nice consistency to it. We used it on our grand-wee-one this past weekend and I love that it didn’t feel sticky or greasy on her skin. It did a wonderful job at protecting her against sunburn.
We also received the TruKid Sunny Days SPF30+ Face and Body Stick to review for all of you. This is a mineral based, non-chemical sunscreen that is packed in a twist up stick so it’s super easy to use. It is all-natural, water-resistant and provides you with great UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Protection. Since grand-wee-one hates lotions on her face, I used the stick on her face over the weekend before she went out to play. This stick doesn’t leave their skin greasy, sticky or oily and I love that there was no scent to it. She didn’t mind me using the stick on her at all, so if your kids hate lotions on their face too, this is a nice option for them! It’s a great stick to toss in your purse, handbag, diaper bag or tote bag and since it’s not a liquid, you won’t have to worry about spillage! yeah!
We loved both of the kid’s sunscreen products that we got to review from TruKid and we look forward to using them even more now that the weather is nice and warm here again in Pennsylvania. I love when I can find natural sunscreen to use on my grand-wee-one’s sensitive skin. I think you would love both of these products too and I highly recommend them to you!
