Family Fun at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire

Pennsylvania Renaissance FaireEvery year we look forward to attending the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire which runs from early August through October. Its held during the weekends and is a well-attended, family-friendly event. Thousands of people from all over the world come to the PA Ren Faire.

One of the things we look forward to are the live shows…they put on numerous live shows every day! You can watch characters dressed in period costumes perform, ride horses, participate in jousting events, put on magic shows and more.

If you’re a fan of craft beers and locally-made wines…you’ll find them here too! Hubby and I enjoy wine tastings, especially when those wines are from our local area and vineyards. I’m not really a beer drinker, but he enjoys taste-testing the craft beers too. Again, all locally made by small breweries.

Let’s talk about food. Yes, food! You’ll find all kinds of delicious eats at the PA Ren Faire. You’ll find specially-made appetizers, sandwiches, hot meals, etc. There are a ton of food options and definitely something for everyone to enjoy.

Today I wanted to share just a few photos from the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire with all of you. Have you ever attended this specific faire or a Ren Faire in your community? Did you enjoy it? If you’ve never attended one…I highly recommend it…at least once in your life!
