When I was a little girl my favorite Disney movie was The Little Mermaid. I adored Ariel and her red hair because I have red hair too! I remember having The Little Mermaid birthday party the year that the movie was released and for the following 2 years I dressed up as Ariel for Halloween. Ahhh, our memories from childhood.

Last week I sat down with my two children (ages 3 1/2 and almost 10 years of age) and we watched The Little Mermaid together. My daughter fell in-love with Ariel and my little boy fell in-love with Flounder. Both of them disliked Ursala, the queen of mean. LOL From start to finish both kids were glued to the TV screen.
If you have never seen the movie you’re really missing out! It’s a classic that is entertaining for the entire family. It’s well-written and the music is fun to sing along with. What’s not to love about a mermaid princess!!!! The Little Mermaid will always be one of my favorite Disney movies and now I get to share that love with my own children.

I love this movie. I remember my niece being obsessed with it when it first came out. She was always singing like Ariel! It was so cute.
