I’m not an artist and I don’t pretend to be one. I do however dabble in painting when it comes to the various craft projects that I make. In the past I would just throw colors that I liked together as I never understood the color wheel. Well, until now.

Even though I’m not an artist…I was able to learn quite a bit by reading this book. I’ve learned which colors work together, colors that coordinate, what colors affect your mood, how to mix paint colors and all sorts of other things. I can apply all of my new knowledge to the crafts that I paint. I really enjoyed learning about “cool colors” and “warm colors” in regards to color temperature.

This book is a valuable resource for new artists and its great for crafters too! Even if you’re not an artist, I feel you’ll learn a lot from this book that you can apply in your craft making too! My mom enjoys crocheting afghans and she is using the book to help her put yarn colors together for her next afghan project. It’s really an informative book!
