Over the past few years we’ve featured many of the Trudeau kitchen products here on the blog and I have to admit, I still love them all! Matter of fact, I often buy their products, in addition to the one’s I received for review. I’m a true fan of Trudeau!

The holidays are almost here and for this review feature I received the Rotary Cheese Grater from Trudeau. I was super excited to get this into my hands, since my old cheese grater bit the dust about 2 months ago. If you don’t own a cheese grater, you really should have one because they make grating cheese a whole lot easier! Plus, by buying your cheese in bricks and grating it up yourself, you’re saving money!
The Rotary Cheese Grater Features:
Stainless Steel Rotary Blade
Stain & Shock Resistant ABS Plastic Housing
Soft Touch Revolving Knob
Dishwasher Safe
Use with Hard Cheese, Chocolate or Nuts
One of the things I really love about this item is it’s size! It’s small and compact, but mighty in power. My old one was large and took up a lot of space. You can easily store this in a medium-sized drawer, kitchen cabinet or on your pantry shelf.
Next, it’s super easy to use! You simply place your cheese (or other item) into the hopper above the grater drum. Lower the arm, press gently while turning crank arm clockwise. That’s it!
We’ve been using our new cheese grater to add freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top of our spaghetti and lasagna. I’ve used it to grate up some roasted cashews and peanuts which we used on our ice cream sundaes last week. My mother used it to grate up chocolate to top off our hot cocoa just yesterday. No matter what we put inside it, it grated it up perfectly!
It’s super easy to clean: Just shake out all remnants of food. Hold the grater drum in place, turn crank arm counter clockwise to free the drum. You can put all of the parts into the dishwasher or hand wash them. I’ve cleaned it both ways, with no issues at all.
If you need a new cheese grater, I highly recommend this one. If you’re looking for an affordable gift for that foodie on your holiday gift-giving list, again, I recommend this one! You can learn more about it and see all of the other products that Trudeau has to offer by visiting the company’s site online.

I’ve never tried a product like this before. We grate a lot of cheese, so this would be great!
I could use a good cheese grater. Much better to buy whole cheeses and grate them.
Years ago (decades really) I had a wonderful metal rotary grater, but that was many moves ago and it’s long gone. Earlier this year I picked up a plastic replacement that went straight in the trash after one use–I couldn’t take it apart to clean it. Blech! This Trudeau grater seems to be just what I’ve been looking for, especially since it can be easily taken apart and washed. Thanks for the review.
I to like Trudeau products and have several of their items. They are much easier for my arthritic hands to use.
I’m not a big cheese eater but would love this grater for making cheese dishes for others. I would use it more myself for nuts and chocolate. I use my spare coffee grinder to grind all kinds of things into flours so I love any grinding/grating helper that saves work from my fingers and wrists.
(How to Easily Grate Your Favorite Cheese) This is one thing that I do not have in our kitchen yet for some reason. I need one for sure, and I like the sounds of this one listed here.
