My husband and I purchased a 65+ year old ranch home last spring and since that time we have been remodeling it. The previous owners who owned it since the day it was built did little to modernize it over the years so trust me, we have a lot of work to do on the home to get it to look the way we would like for it to look.
For the past few weeks we have been looking at various styles of Window Boxes to put on our windows once we replace the shutters in a few weeks. When we first started looking at Window Box Planters we didn’t realize that they come in hundreds of styles and colors.
You can find garden window boxes made from metal, wood, vinyl and other materials to go with the outside style of your home. Once you select your favorite style and color of window box then you have to decide on what kind of flowers and/or plants you want to plant inside them. Decisions…a lot of decisions to make on which ones we want to purchase.
I do believe that investing in window plant boxes adds value to your home’s appearance and I really like the ambiance charm that they have when visitors & neighbors look at your home…just a welcoming feeling when you see pretty flowers sitting in a window box.
