Mailbox Monday is all about those FREE things you got in your mailbox last month. Freebies, Samples, Giveaway & Contest Prizes, Gifts, etc. What it doesn’t include….yucky bills that nobody wants! Here’s the goodies that arrived for our family last month.
My friends and family know that I collect vintage (and some new) beach, coastal and ocean themed brooches and pins. I probably have around 25 vintage ones and a dozen or so modern ones in my collection. Last month my one friend sent me 4 new vintage brooches to add to my collection that she had picked up at an antique store. They’re a belated birthday gift….and I love them! I tried to get a decent photograph of them but it’s dark and gloomy outside with rain. Indoor photo with a flash didn’t capture the beauty of these vintage brooches.
In addition to those….my husband won a $50 gift card to get his oil changed in one of our vehicles from a local place. He was excited about that. Then we received a $25 Starbucks GC in the postal mail and have no idea who we won it from or how we got it. There wasn’t any information with it…however, we used it a few days ago and treated ourselves to coffee.
