ComfyTemp Heating Pad to Help with Pain Relief

May 13, 2026 by Sam H. Leave a Comment

I’m in my 60’s and getting ready to retire later this year. As I’ve gotten older the aches and pains have started to set in. I often come home from work with back, knee and/or hip pain. I’ve seen my orthopedic doctor and he recommended that I try a heating pad and long soaks in our hot tub to help ease it. With that said, if you’re going to use a heating pad you should ONLY use it on the low heat setting and never fall asleep with it on.

Last month I needed to purchase a new one and selected the ComfyTemp Heating Pad from Amazon. I read through the reviews from several brands over there and I liked the features and price point on this particular one. Since I have Amazon Prime I was able to receive it within 2 days. It arrived brand new and in the original box. I took it out of the box and read over the instructions so that I knew exactly how to operate the features. It measures 12″ by 24″ in size.

It has a low, medium and high heat setting…I ONLY use the low heat setting. I appreciate that it has a 2 hour auto-shutoff, so that if I forget to turn it off, it will automatically turn off for me after 2 hours. All of the buttons on the attached remote are easy-to-see and easy to operate. The cover on the pad is permanently attached. However, you can easily clean this pad by unattaching the electrical cable.

Due to the 12″ by 24″ size of the heating pad you can use it across your back, on your abdomen, wrapped around your knee or hip, across your shoulders, etc. It has a 5.9 foot power cord, so you can plug it in beside your bed or your favorite chair. You can use it dry or with moist heat by spritzing the pad with a water bottle. You don’t want to soak it! Just lightly mist it. The fabrication of the pad is very soft, almost feels like a plush velour.

I’ve been using it almost daily for several weeks and I really like it! I’ve had other brands in the past but so far, this one is my favorite. It’s the perfect size, easy to use and I like that it has a feature so that it doesn’t over-heat! Let’s face it, no one needs any burns! If you’re looking for a new one…I would recommend the ComfyTech Heating Pad that I purchased from Amazon.
