Our family enjoys getting together a few times every year to play miniature golf, especially if when traveling. We’ve been enjoying the game of mini golf as a family for the past 35 years! We love to get out onto the course and challenge one another. It’s usually males vs the females…with the females typically winning. All of the kids and grandkids grew up loving the game!
Miniature golf is great for family bonding time along with much needed exercise. It gets us all outside into the fresh air and sunshine. I admit, we all need to be doing it more! If I had the room and the money….I would put a mini golf course in our backyard…yes, that’s how much our family enjoys playing it!

There’s a beautiful mini golf course down in Cape May, New Jersey at Sunset Beach. It’s nicely landscaped with easy and challenging holes. You can play while looking out at the bay as you play! If you go near sunset time…you’ll see a beautiful sunset out over the Delaware Bay. It’s one of the best places in south Jersey to see a sunset.
After a round of mini golf we have another family tradition. We head to a local ice cream shop and all get ice cream. My personal favorite is a large banana split with extra cherries on top.
