Cinnamon Raisin Swirl French Toast Recipe

February 17, 2026 by Classystaff

Several times a week I like to make a hot breakfast for my family to enjoy. One of the things they enjoy eating is French Toast but they don’t like it made with plain bread. Instead, we use Artisan bread or Thomas flavored breads that I pick up at the local grocery store. One of their favorites are the Thomas Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread that mades delicious toast along with your eggs for breakfast or tun it into a yummy French Toast!

Cinnamon Swirl Raisin French Toast Recipe

Thomas Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread, sliced from a loaf
Large Eggs
Milk
Pure Vanilla Extract
non-stick Baking Spray

I didn’t give specific measurements because that will depend on how many slices of French Toast that you’re making. I typically will put 2-3 large eggs in a glass measuring cup along with 2 tablespoons of milk. Whisk together in the measuring cup. Add a few drops of pure vanilla extract. Whisk again.

Dip the Thomas Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread into the prepared egg mixture coating both sides of the bread. I’m generous with the egg coating.

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Spray it with a light coating of non-stick baking spray. Once the skillet is hot add the slices of French Toast. Simmer each side for 2-3 minutes for the egg to cook and the sides to each turn a golden brown color. Remove from heat. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions: Sprinkle confectioner’s sugar across the top, maple syrup, pancake syrup, butter, honey butter or add sliced fresh fruits.
