I’m a bargain shopper and take great pride on rarely paying full price for anything! With that said, it can take time to hunt down those great deals while at other times you just stumble upon them. When I’m bargain shopping I’m looking for deals on items that we need that are a minimum of 35% off…preferably 50% or more.

In my household we have 3 adults that regularly use heating pads to relieve minor aches and pains. Since they’re used often, every year we find that we have to purchase new ones. We like the large body sized heating pads with automatic shut-off features. It can be used dry or as a moist heating pad.
Well, last month I went into a local department store to pick up bed sheets. They were having a clearance sale on bed sheets at 50% off. While I was there…I decided to check out their home goods clearance section located in the back corner of the store. I’m so glad that I did! I found large size heating pads marked down to $7.99 each…regularly priced at $34.99 each. They only had 2 left and I purchased both! I couldn’t pass up that price!
Now I have 2 brand new back-up heating pads in our linen closet for when we need them. Like I said, we go through them on a yearly basis, so it was nice to grab two of them at a clearance price! A lot of money saved…yay!!! I typically purchase them from Amazon, so this was a BIG win-win for me!
