Anti Fatigue Cushioned Non-Slip Kitchen Mats

February 23, 2026 by Classystaff

Every year I have to buy new throw rugs for our kitchen. It’s one of the most used rooms in our entire home and gets a workout. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking, baking and canning. Our entire floor is ceramic tile so I need something underneath my feet that provides comfort while looking nice.

Last month I purchase a set of 2 Anti Fatigue Cushioned Non-Slip Kitchen Mats from Amazon. One of the things I like about this set is that the mats are 2 different sizes: 1 is a runner and 1 is a mat. That’s perfect for the layout of my kitchen. Next, the pattern and color scheme works nicely with my coastal cottage decor. It’s hard to find kitchen accessories that work within that decorating style. Third, they’re not too small, nor too large. They’re perfect in size.

Cushioned anti fatigue mats are great for those who stand a lot in their kitchen. They help to provide a cushion between your feed and the hard surface of your floor. I have chronic back and leg pain…so they’re a must-have if I’m going to continue to spend a lot of time cooking. There’s a noticeable difference between using a cushioned mat and a traditional throw rug. BIG difference! This particular set has a non-slip backing so that they’re not sliding all around on your floor.

Let’s talk about the easy cleaning. Day to day I like to run a stick vac across the floor in my kitchen. We have a cat and he can make a mess when he eats…so every day I get the stick vac out to clean up our kitchen floor. It easily cleans the surface of the mat because I’m not using a traditional vacuum with strong suction power. You can sweep them off with a broom too. When mine get really dirty then I like to spray them with Dawn Powerwash Liquid Dishwashing Spray….then sponge clean them. Take a clean cotton towel and towel dry or hang them up outside to air dry. I don’t launder them in a washing machine.

Looking to buy some new anti fatigue cushioned kitchen mats or rugs? Check out the large selection that Amazon has to offer. They have them in hundreds of different sizes, styles and colors….along with varying price points.
