Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray is my go-to for quick and easy kitchen cleaning. I started using the product 2 years ago after purchasing it to do dishes. Well, it can do a LOT more than just cleaning your dishes! Here’s how I like to use it for those daily and weekly cleaning tasks in my kitchen.

1. Range and Range Hood – Spray it directly onto the Range or onto a soft microfiber cleaning cloth. Wipe down the stove-top and range hood. It does a great job at removing food particles and grease. If needed, you can spray it onto a stubborn spot and let sit for 20 minutes to help break down the gunk. Got a dirty, greasy oven window? It does a great job at cleaning that up too! Use a clean damp cloth to wipe things down after using the Dawn. You can air dry or towel dry if you want things looking “spot-free”.

2. Stainless Steel Appliances – Spray the outside of the dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster oven and other stainless steel appliances with the Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray. You don’t need to soak them…a light spray should be all that you need. Take a damp cloth and wipe them down.
3. Refrigerator Spills – If there’s a spill in the refrigerator I will spray a damp cotton cloth with a little bit of the Dawn. Clean-up the spill by just gently wiping it up. Use a clean damp cloth to go over it a final time. If you have really dirty refrigerator bins or shelving…take them out and give them a good overall cleaning in your kitchen sink using the Dawn.
4. Silicone Baking Sheets, Utensils, Etc. – Place them into a sink with warm soapy water (using the Dawn) and let them soak for 15-20 minutes to remove food, gunk, grease, oil, etc. Then give them a good overall rinsing with clean water. Air or towel dry. In my honest opinion, Dawn is the BEST thing to clean those silicone non-stick baking mats!

5. Kitchen Trash Can – I like to keep our trash can as clean as possible. Not immaculate, but clean and odor-free. Once every 2 weeks I take it outside and spray some water into it using our garden hose. Spray the inside and outside with Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray. Let it run down the sides to help remove dirt and grime. I typically will let the soapy water sit inside the trash can for 20-30 minutes before dumping it out. Use a garden hose to rinse the trash can clean. Let it thoroughly dry before placing a new trash bag inside.
6. Greasy Pots and Pans – It’s the best dish soap for removing grease, oil, food particles, grime and other gunk from your cookware. Hey, that’s what Dawn is best at doing!!! Don’t forget to use it to clean your baking dishes, cookie sheets, ceramic slow cooker pots, etc.
7. Kitchen Light Fixtures – Lightly mist a damp cotton cloth with the Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray. You ONLY need a little bit. Use the dampened cloth to wipe down the lighting fixtures in the kitchen. They get really dirty and greasy from all of that cooking that you do. They’re easier to take care of if you wipe them down on a bi-monthly basis instead of letting all of that grease and grime accumulate.
8. Pre-Treat Stains on Kitchen Linens – Spills and stains can ruin your every day and special occasion kitchen linens. Spray the Dawn directly onto the spot and let it sit for 30 minutes before tossing it into your washing machine. It’s a great pre-treater for all kinds of different stains…especially food ones!
