I kicked off the New Year with a promise to get our home contents downsized and organized. We’re empty nesters and have way too much stuff. It’s time to go through things and donate the items we don’t need and to organize the items we decide to keep. With that said, I’m all about using reusable and affordable home organization products. To help me get better organized I ordered the Reusable Mesh Zipper Storage Bags from Amazon. You get 24 bags in the set in a variety of different sizes. They’re square and rectangular shaped. I love that these storage pouches aka bags have zipper closures, they’re clear so I can see inside them and they’re waterproof.
They’re made out of a thick mesh material that’s light-weight and let’s you see the contents inside the bag. The metal zipper is durable…not plastic like the other brands. When they’re not in-use they collapse flat, weigh next-to-nothing and don’t hog up any storage space. You can slip them into any drawer until you need them. You can use them to get organized around the house, at work, at school or use when traveling to keep items inside your luggage neat and organized!
How am I using them? Well, I’m just getting started! Here’s a few of the ways I’m personally using them.
* Organize my small art and craft supplies
* Separate and organize my manicure & pedicure items

* Toiletries when we’re traveling

There’s so many different ways you can use them! There’s various sizes in the one pack…so you really can get a lot of those little items cleaned up and organized. I’m just getting started with them and I already know that I need to purchase a second pack. I’m absolutely determined to cut our household items in half by the end of the year! Yup, I’m a woman on a mission to downsize and get organized!
