I’m a big nature fan. My wife and I will often visit local, state and national parks to just explore. We enjoy walking trails, bird watching and just being out in nature. At our “senior age” hiking, rock climbing, and all those things are over but we can still get out and walk!
A few months ago we were out in the mid-west visiting some friends. While we were visiting their farm we kept seeing all of these tree frogs! Seriously, I’ve never seen so many frogs in one place! They would come out in the cooler evening hours and then throughout the night you could really hear them. Some of them are quite loud and let me tell you…large in size!
Here’s a close-up photo I got one evening after the sun went down. This particular tree frog was climbing up the side of the house. Check out those feet on him!!! These frogs weren’t afraid of people. They were quite comfortable having all of us sitting out on the back deck that evening. Heck, they wanted to be included in the party.
