A Gin and Tonic is one of the easiest cocktails you can make. Not only is it easy-to-make…it’s popular, especially among my friends and family. Have you ever wondered how to make one at home? If so, here’s the recipe that you’ll need. This cocktail recipe requires no cocktail shaker or fancy gear. It’s the classic version.

Gin and Tonic Cocktail Recipe
2 oz. gin
4 oz. tonic water
Lime Wheels (for garnishing)
Mint Sprig (optional)
Ice Cubes
Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour in the gin and then the tonic water. Stir until combined. Garnish with 1-2 lime wheels. You can add an optional sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
Note: We have 2 friends who prefer an orange wheel or wedge in thier Gin & Tonic instead of the lime wheel. Some friends like the addition of the mint sprig while other’s do not.
