Throughout the year I like to put out a few inflatable decorations to represent the current season or holiday. I have three that I put out for Spring and Easter, two that patriotic themed inflatables during the summer and then once fall rolls around I put out 5 for Halloween and over a dozen for Christmas. I really enjoy decorating our front and back yard with outdoor holiday inflatables.

With that said…I recommend that you pick up an Outdoor Inflatable Decorations Stakes and Tethers Replacement Kit and keep that on hand. You will lose stakes and tethers…they do break from time to time. You may want to add extra stakes and tethers if you live in a very windy area. Inflatable decorations are expensive and you don’t want to lose any of them during bad weather. Furthermore, the more tied down and secure it is in your yard…it’s harder for a thief to walk up and take it.

I purchased my Outdoor Inflatable Decorations Stakes and Tethers Replacement Kit from Amazon. You’ll find various manufacturers who make them at a variety of different price points. Overall, they’re not expensive and in my honest opinion, worth the investment to have on hand. Whatever kit you do select…make sure it uses metal stakes…not plastic! I like to keep all of mine together in a plastic zipper closure bag.

Even those these are made for inflatables you can use them for other items that need to be staked down into the ground and tethered. I’ve used to on a few of my vintage blow molds, artificial holiday trees, sleds and other holiday decorations that I want to stay firmly in place.
