How do you like to enjoy New Year’s Eve? Got any family traditions, do nothing or just do whatever comes up that particular year? In our family we have several New Year’s Eve traditions.
We like to get together on New Year’s Eve to have a family dinner. The dinner always consists of seafood like steamed shrimp, crab legs, lobster tails, clam chowder soup, etc. We enjoy sitting down and playing board & card games as a family while we have a movie playing in the background. Some times the kids will break-off to play video games while we enjoy a good adult board game.
Around 11pm EST we turn the TV on to watch a little bit of the festivities from Times Square and then at midnight we watch the ball drop. Shortly after that…we all fall into bed exhausted and ready for a good night’s sleep!
