I’ve been using hair drying towels for the past 20 years. I prefer wrapping my head of hair up in a hair trying towel compared to using a regular bath towel which can damage your hair. That’s right…a heavy bath towel can actually damage your hair due to it’s weight and size. It’s recommended that you use a smaller towel made specifically for drying your hair.

Over the years I’ve found that buying hair drying towels and giving them as birthday gifts and holiday gifts to the women in our family have been some of the best gifts that I’ve given. Matter of fact, they usually request more as their birthday or holiday approaches! Don’t get me wrong, some guys in my family do use them but they’re really appreciated by the girls.

When buying them you want to look at the materials list. I like buying the ones that contain all or a lot of cotton in them. Microfiber is okay but I really like the absorbency of cotton. Second…look at the size of the towel. If you’re going to buy them for someone with long, thick hair…make sure you get the correct size. Third…easy to use! I like the ones that have an over-sized button so that I can easily fasten the loop. I avoid the ones that have snap-type closures.
The holiday season is quickly approaching and guess what? I’m ready! I’ve purchased 7 sets of hair drying towels in a variety of different colors that are ready to to be gift-wrapped and given to their recipients. To go along with towels I purchased other haircare type of items: shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, mousse, hair ties, hair brushes, hand mirrors, etc. Not everyone in the family will get the same thing…as all of the hair accessories will be split up among the girls.
If you’re looking for a practical gift to give this holiday season…I would like to suggest that you pick up a few sets of hair drying towels. Oh yeah, get yourself a set too!
