Christmas and Holiday Lights in Marysville

December 10, 2025 by Sam H.

Christmas is such a wonderful time of the year for families to get together. Our family enjoys loading up our cars with the kids and heading out to see the Christmas light displays in our area. These light displays can be small ones in various neighborhoods or larger ones that you can walk or drive-thru. Some of them are free while others charge an admission fee. We try to stick to the free ones!

Marysville is a small town about 15-20 minutes from our home. There’s a house in Marysville that goes all out with their Christmas and holiday decorating. The public is invited to come by and walk through their outdoor holiday light displays. This family does a fabulous job and guess what? There’s no admission fee! They get a lot of visitors during the holiday season.

When we head out for these fun family events my wife will pack snack bags and hot cocoa for everyone who is going. Some of the little kids in the family wear their holiday pajamas (they typically fall asleep on the way home). We will play Christmas music in the car while we’re riding around to help set the holiday mood. While I’m not the best singer…I do enjoy listening to the kids sing their favorite holiday tunes.

We like to decorate our front and back yards too! I put out hundreds of Christmas lights, inflatables and holiday displays. We have a few hotels in our area and their guests like to come on by to see what we have going on in our yard too. It’s nice to meet new people and help others to get into the Christmas holiday spirit.

Hope you all enjoy the photographs above. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!!
