For the past 6 months I’ve been looking for new pillar candle holders for our home. Everything that I was finding out in the retail marketplace didn’t work with our coastal cottage home decor or was way too expensive. I’m not paying $40+ for one candle holder. Sorry, I’m way too thrifty for that! I don’t care how pretty it is…it has to fit within my budget.

Last month I hit one of our local thrift stores (twice during the month) and purchase a total of 3 wood coatal cottage candle holders. Two of them are a set and were purchased during my first visit. Each one is a different height. The third one was purchased during my second visit and is quite tall in it’s height. All 3 are made out of wood and all 3 work perfectly with my style of home decor.
All three of them looked brand new. Seriously, brand new! I got the set of two for only $5.00 and I got the single tall one for $4.49. That’s less than $10 for all three candle holders! Now…that’s what I call BARGAIN SHOPPING!
I use flameless pillar candles throughout our home and have flameless pillars sitting on top of them right now. I’m going to tuck them away until after the holidays and then bring them back out. I just love their design and I love the price even more! I think I’m going to look for some type of candle ring or crystal ring to go around them next.
