8 Beautiful Tops and a Cardigan Sweater Thrifted for Under $50

December 3, 2025 by Classystaff

For the past 6 weeks I’ve been updating my fall and winter wardrobe on a budget. I opted to ONLY buy women’s clothing if it’s on sale for a deep discount or items I’ve purchased from a local thrift store. Two weeks ago I hit the thrift store and purchased 8 beautiful tops and a cardigan sweater for less than $50.00. All were either new (still had original tags) or looked still new condition. All are brands that I’m familiar with.

One of my favorite designer brands is Belle by Kim Gravel sold on QVC. Her items can be pricey and I typically only buy when they’re on sale or a today’s special value. Well, I found 3 beautiful Belle by Kim Gravel Tops at the thrift store for $4.99 to $5.99 each. Wow, they typically sell on QVC for $49.99 and up. All 3 of them fit me perfectly and I love them!!!

The 5 other tops were various other brands. 2 of the 5 have short sleeves while the other 3 have long sleeves making them perfect for winter. The short sleeves I’ll layer under cardigans. The blue marled striped cardigan sweater still had the retail tags still on it too! Originally priced at $54.99. I got it from the thrift store for $7.99 what a steal!!! It’s a light-weight cardigan with an open front. It will give me nice coverage since it comes to about mid-thigh. It fits me perfectly too!

If you need to update your fall and winter wardrobes don’t forget to check out a local thrift store or consignment store to see what they have. I typically shop the thrift because I can get items cheaper from a thrift store than a consignment shop. At least that’s been my personal experience.
