Are you an early riser or do you enjoy sleeping in a bit? Do you go to bed early or are you a night owl? As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that my body needs more sleep. I try to go to bed early and get up around 8 am in the morning. I find that if I get into bed really late (like around midnight) that my body just drags and drags for a day or two. I feel that I do much better by getting into bed early…even if it’s into bed early to just watch a little TV before falling asleep. I started to allow myself a little nap time if I need it throughout the week. By little…less than an hour once or twice a week. I guess that’s more of a catnap!
Gone are those days where I could function on 6 hours of sleep…night after night, week after week.
