Oh….I can’t wait to show you all of my frugal finds and bargain deals that I purchased from a local Thrift Store last month. I love shopping at the Thrift Stores! You can often find brand new or gently used items at a bargain price! Not all thrift stores are the same. We have some in our area that are dirty and a waste of time…but we have other thrift stores that are totally worth visiting and visiting often!
Last month I purchased all of these items from one of my favorite thrift stores Community Aid.
Large Oval Wicker Basket $2.99
Ceramic Seashell Dish $1.49
2 Glass Jack Daniels Bar Glasses $1.49 each
New with Tags Sea Turtle Figure for $3.49
Black 2-tier Centerpiece Display Tray $5.99
4-pack of NEW Candle Impressions Flameless Candles $7.99
Fuller Brush Co Microfiber Duster (brand new) $4.99
Vintage Food Dehydrator with 5 trays, recipe booklet & jerky-making accessories (looks never used) $7.99

The black 2-tier display tray is currently being spray painted white. It will sit on our buffet table with seasonal decor that I’ll change in and out. The black color doesn’t work for me…so that’s why it’s being painted white. It looks never used! Getting that $5.99 was an awesome deal.
I own many and I mean MANY flameless candles from Candle Impressions. They’re one of my favorite brands. I was super excited to find a bag of 4 pillar candles (brand new) for only $7.99. Wowza! I immeditately tossed that into my cart. I’m really big into home canning and food preservation. I have a food dehydrator that I use pretty often. Well, when I saw this (new) vintage one with all of the accessories I decided to grab that too. Now I can dehydrate twice as many things and…I can try my hand at making homemade jerky too!
Shopping the local thrift stores is a great way to save money. Not only that…your saving items from hitting the landfills. I really enjoy bargain shopping and saving money…that money I save can be used towards more important things like our mortgage and car payments. This was a GREAT haul from the local thrift store!
