Interactive Cat Toy with Bell and Feathers

October 1, 2025 by Sam H.

Our boy Romeo is 6 years old . We just celebrated his birthday a few weeks ago. As a 6 year old adult cat…it can be difficult to find toys that will engage him and give him some much needed physical activity. Cats at his age like to laze around spending the majority of their day sleeping. Yeah, eating and sleeping seems to be his two favorite things to do.

As pet parents it’s important that we provide interactive and engaging toys for our pets. Just like children…they need something to do. Something to stimulate their minds and give them physical exercise. This helps them to stay healthier for a longer period of time. We want our loveable fur babies to live as long as they possibly can.

We purchase new toys for our cat on a regular basis. We also rotate his toys around. We have 3 baskets full of toys and each week one gets put away and a new basket is brought out. This helps to keep his interest as he thinks he’s getting new things to play with. Rotating their toys is also a good way to keep things clean and germ-free. Every time you rotate…clean their toys that way when you bring them back out…they’re clean and ready-to-go.

The newest addition to Romeo’s collection is the Cat Toy with Bell and Feather. It’s a hard rubbery ball with a jingle bell inside. On the outside there’s attached feathers. These type’s of balls are great for hardwood and tiled floors. You want it to easily roll around, bounce, etc so they can chase it. While it will work on carpeting…it doesn’t work as well as hardwood flooring. Just saying! Our boy will get his claws in the little holes of the ball and swat it across the floor.

If you haven’t updated your pet’s toys lately…it’s time to get them something new. Get something that will engage them, that’s interactive and affordable. You’ll find all kinds of affordable cat toys over on Amazon for a really great price.
