We live in south central Pennsylvania and visit Hersheypark 1-2 times every year. Hersheypark is one of the best amusement parks on the east coast, especially in the northeast. You can spend an entire day there and still not experience everything the park has to offer. It’s a HUGE park and if you’re visiting for the first time…I would recommend that you schedule 2 days for your visit. Nearby the park you’ll find Hershey’s Chocolate World and connected to the park you’ll find ZooAmerica, a small north American zoo.

October 28th, 2025 we headed down to the park for an evening of fun. On this particular visit we wanted to experience the new Halloween spooky attractions. The park was crowded and busy! Those new attractions had wait line times of 30-60 minutes each. Wow! During our 4 hours there we got to experience 2 of the new Haunted Houses and get on 2 additional rides. If you wanted to wait in line for a shorter length of time…the regular rides were your best bet.
During this time of the year the park is all decked out in Autumn and Halloween decor. Hay bales, pumpkins, gourds, scarecrows, etc. all the things you typically see during the Fall season. As we walked around the park we saw hundreds of children and some adults dressed up in Halloween costumes. That was fun to see!

On our way out we did stop to do a little shopping at the park shops and grabbed a quick bite to eat. We headed out about an hour before closing time to avoid the crowds. Overall, we had a fun night with the family.
