Got children or grandchildren in your lives? Nieces or nephews? I really think it’s important as adults that we spend time with the kids and get them outside into nature. Nature walks around the neighborhood, your farm, at the local neighborhood park, a state park, etc. is important! It gets kids out of the house and into the fresh air for some much needed physical activity. Kids spend way too much time inside and on their butts! Get involved and get them outside. Nature walks are a great way to educate kids about different trees, their foliage, insects, critters that live in your area and about getting physical exercise that our minds and bodies need. These walks don’t need to be long…even a 30 minute walk around the neighborhood is great! On top of that….it’s great family bonding time and they’re free!
