Two weeks ago I headed to the local Community Aid Thrift Store in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. On this particular trip I was looking for a few things to add to our coastal cottage beach decor. I enjoy looking for unique items that fit within the decorating theme of our home. When I find items at a bargain price…that’s even better!
The ONLY thing I found on that particular shopping trip that works for our decor was the almost new metal colander in the pretty light aqua turquoise color. That’s the accent color in my kitchen so I definitely added that to my shopping cart. The only other kitchen item I added that day was a vintage cotton apron which I just love!
Last year hubby purchased a vintage juke box that he’s redoing. He picked up the rusty metal 45 record holder and will be sanding it down and painting it….to sit nearby his juke box once that project has been completed.
You’ll see that I made out pretty good in the women’s apparel department! I picked up 2 pairs of OLD NAVY pajama bottoms (still had Old Navy store tags on them), a black floral print pair of Old Navy capri leggings, a solid black 3/4 sleeve top and a black and white print dressy top along with a large bag of cotton balls that were originally from Target.
Overall…I spent about $53.00 and got some great deals.
