Are you a fan of food trucks? Food truck festivals and parties are a big thing in our city. There are hundreds of them that attend local events such as carnivals, fairs, festivals, music concerts, holiday fireworks, at wine tasting events, corporate events, birthday parties, etc. Luckily for us, we have many food trucks to choose from. Everything from entire meals to appetizers and frozen desserts. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Yesterday we had a very popular food truck come to my work property as a treat to our residents. The property is a senior living property, so some of our residents don’t go out that often to eat. As soon as the food truck arrived they were lined up and looking forward to placing their orders. It was nice to see residents chatting with one another, laughing and excited for our little food truck event.
We opened up our community center so that the residents could sit down and enjoy their meal together. Of course, they were free to take their meals back to their apartments too. Several residents ordered 2-4 meals so that they would have something delicious to enjoy over the next few days. Everyone had a great time…residents and employees included.
