Bbq chicken…it’s one of my favorite foods from the grill. When it comes to chicken…I like a variety of different tastes depending on my mood. I like sweet, tangy and sometimes I enjoy it with a moderate amount of heat. Changing up your barbecue sauces and seasoning rubs is a great way to keep mealtime interesting. If you’re in a rut…using the same thing all of the time….time to try something different!

Last month I purchased a bottle of the Buffalo Wild Wings Honey BBQ Sauce. It’s a sweet sauce with gentle heat. It’s perfect for people who don’t enjoy a lot of heat. I decided to season a pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts with the sauce. I like to be generous with the amount of bbq sauce that I’m using and make sure that the entire piece of chicken is covered. Use a marinating container if you want the best results. I like to let chicken marinate in the refrigerate for a few hours before cooking.
On this particular day I took the chicken out of the refrigerator and left it sit for 15-20 minutes on the counter-top. Let it come up to temperature a little bit before tossing it onto a hot grill. Took about 30-40 minutes and our chicken dinner was done. Oh yeah, I do recommend that you use a meat thermometer to make sure you have reached the proper temperature when cooking meats.
Our grilled honey bbq chicken turned out great! This barbecue sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness without being overly-sweet. Just a tad of heat and I mean…a tad! This is one sauce that every member in your family will enjoy…kids through adults.
