I use a lot of Acrylic Paint Markers in various art and craft projects that I make. I can easily go through 1 pack every 6-8 weeks. With that said, I’m picky about the acrylic paint markers that I like to use. For example…I don’t want any that require priming. I won’t use them if they give off paint odors or take forever to dry.

When I find a brand that I really like to use…I like to share that information with the TCC blog readers. For the past 2 months I’ve been using the TBC Dual Tip Acrylic Paint Markers that I purchased from Amazon. I really like these non-toxic paint markers that feature cotton nibs for the tips. They don’t require priming, they don’t leak, don’t cause any drippy messes and they have no foul paint odors! Yay!!!
How do I like to use them? Well, I’m going to tell you.
I primarily use them when I’m painting kindness rocks and kindness seashells. The colors are nice and vivid. A lot of time I only need one coat which is nice. They dry fast and the colors don’t seem to fade. They advertise them as being waterproof…but I apply clear Mod Podge Sealer over-the-top of all of my paint seashells and rocks, so I can’t speak to the waterproof claim.
Company claims they can be used on paper, metal, ceramic, rocks, glass, canvas, plastic, etc. I have used them just fine on paper (cardstock), art canvas boards, smooth river rocks and the seashells that I mentioned earlier.
If you’re looking for affordable acrylic paint markers you’ll want to check out the TBC Acrylic Paint Markers from Amazon. You get 24 colors in the pack for a really great price…unlike other brands that I’ve used.
