Modess Basics Alcohol-Free Disposable Washcloths

August 1, 2025 by Classystaff

We do a lot of traveling and that includes camping. There are times we don’t have access to water but yet need to get clean. In our travel bag and camping gear I always pack 2-3 packs of the Modess Basics Alcohol-Free Disposable Washcloths that I pick up from Dollar Tree for $1.25 per pack. You get 18 disposable washcloths in each package.

These disposable washcloths are pH balanaced, contain no parabens, no alcohol and contain no phthalates. They’re over-sized measuring 12″ by 8″ per cloth. According to the package they’re for adults….cleaning the perineal areas of the body. With that said, we’ve used them on our feet, hands, arms, etc. wherever we needed to get clean. Similar to baby diaper wipes but made for adults!

One thing to keep in mind is….they are NOT flushable! You need to dispose of them in the trash. They’re pre-moistened, so you don’t need to add water and you don’t need to rinse after using them. They’re convenient and great for on-the-go use. If you’re a caregiver to an adult (at home)…they would be great for that use too!

I’ve purchased other brands over the years but I really like the Modess Basics brand. I like that they’re over-sized and they’re not paper thin. Furthermore, they don’t have any funky fragrances either. You get a nice fresh and clean feeling after using them. As an added bonus, they’re a heck of a lot cheaper than comparative brands…only $1.25 per pack from your local Dollar Tree store.
