Mailbox Monday is all about those FREE things you got in your mailbox last month. Freebies, Samples, Giveaway & Contest Prizes, Gifts, etc. What it doesn’t include….yucky bills that nobody wants! Here’s the goodies that arrived for our family last month.
Oh…do I have something fun to share with you today!
My one friend lives down on the island on a full-time basis. She knows that I’m decorating our home in a coastal and beach theme. She also knows that I’m trying to do it on a budget. Up here in PA….coastal home decor is hard to find and when I do find it…it’s expensive. I typically go on buying sprees when we’re down at the Jersey Shore and bring the items up to Pennsylvania with me.
Anyway, the island was having an island-wide yard sale. I asked her to keep her eyes peeled for inexpensive tropical fish figurines. I’m working on a display in our guest bathroom and need a few tropical fish. Well, she picked up two of them for me. She paid $2.00 for both of them! The white one is large in size and both are in perfect condition. I need 3 more tropical fish and then my display will be complete. Stay tuned for updated photos coming soon.
Oh yeah…the freebies! I got a free travel-size bottle of hair shampoo and conditioner. My husband won a nail grooming kit from a giveaway on social media…contains 22 different pedicure and manicure items. Cool wins!
