We’ve been going down to Wildwood in New Jersey multiple times a year for the past 25 years. It’s my family’s favorite place to go on vacation or to just get away for a few days. We’re beach lovers and love the North Wildwood area.
Anyway, we’re street art and wall mural fans. We stumbled upon a brand new outdoor wall mural at the Wildwood’s Honky Tonk Saloon…it sits right off the boardwalk…at the back side of the boardwalk mall. You’ll find the wall mural painted on the outside wall of the building…facing a parking lot. If you want a good shot of the wall mural…go early in the morning before it gets busy down there.
The wall mural depicts a beach scene with the Atlantic Ocean, the beach and several surf boards sticking up in the sand. Of course…they included a little bit of advertising on a few of the surf boards too! Love that there’s a sunrise or a sunet in the back ground. Usually we see an artist or company signature but I didn’t see one on the mural…but then again due to the cars in the parking lot, I couldn’t get too close.
We hope more and more towns and cities across America start adding beautiful wall murals to their city landscape. It’s better to look at a colorful wall mural than a dilapitated old building wall. It adds beauty in my honest opinion!
