Last month we stopped by a combination antiques and crafts mall that has over 150+ vendors. All of the vendors are local to the area. It’s one of the nicest antique stores in the Harrisburg and Hershey area and is located in Hummelstown. We try to get down there for a visit every 6-8 weeks. The merchandise is constantly being updated and the prices are great!!!
One of my favorite vendors does a lot of furniture rehabs and redos. She will repaint and refinish wood cabinets, shelves, art frames, jewelry boxes, large wall mirrors, wood stools and all sorts of things. I own 4 pieces of her beautiful artwork.
On this particular trip I fell in-love with the Coastal Mermaid Wood Treasure Box Chest and had to have it. It looks like she refurbished an old wood bread box. Painted it and added all of the pretty beach decor to it like the Mermaids. I just love it!!! I have it sitting on our coffee bar holding coffee pods in our kitchen. It’s beautiful.
