Classic Creamy Deviled Eggs Recipe

Classic Creamy Deviled Eggs RecipeEvery holiday get-together, backyard bbq or family picnic includes the classic deviled eggs. They’re an appetizer that our family loves and oh so easy-to-make! You’ll need just a few ingredients to make them. If you want the filling to be smooth and creamy…blend-up the filling ingredients in a manual food processer or use a hand mixer.

Classic Creamy Deviled Eggs Recipe

6-7 Hard-Boiled Eggs
Reduced Fat Mayonnaise
Yellow or Dijon Mustard
Granulated Sugar
Salt
Ground Black Pepper
Ground Paprika

Notice that I didn’t list ingredients amounts above. Why? Because everyone has different taste buds. You can use my approximate measurements listed below.

Hard-boil the eggs and remove the shells. I slice the egg in half lengthwise. Pop the yolks into a small mixing bowl Add in approximately 1/4 cup reduced fat mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. mustard, 1 teaspoon granulated sugar, a pinch of salt and a pinch of ground black pepper. Use a hand mixer or a manual food processor. Process or blend until the filling is smooth and creamy.

Do a little taste-test and add additional ingredients to suit your particular taste buds. The amounts above are approximately what I use.

Spoon the yolk filling into the prepared egg halves. You want to over-flow the tops of them a little bit. Then sprinkle on a little bit of ground paprika. Place in an egg tray and cover. Refrigerator until serving time.
