Every month we get a new toy for our cat to enjoy. Romeo at the age of 4 likes cat toys that are automatic and give him some good physical exercise. As pet parents, it’s our job to keep our feline friends happy and healthy…that includes a daily dose of good exercise. To keep boredom at-bay we rotate Romeo’s toys in-and-out and provide new ones on a regular basis.

For the past few months I’ve been seeing commericials and ads for those automatic flapping bird wings cat toys and decided to purchase one through Amazon. Amazon had them for a cheaper price than our two local pet supply stores, so I went with Amazon. There are different manufacturers who make them, so make sure you read over the reviews to find the one that best suits your cat’s needs.
When making your selection…decide if you want one that utilizes batteries that you’ll need to replace or if you want one that can be re-charged up via a charging card. The one that I got is rechargeable and very easy to operate. There’s a button to turn it on. Tap the button again for the low speed, tap it twice for high speed and again to turn it off. If your cat doesn’t play with it…it will automatically turn-off after a few minutes.
The plush bird flaps its wings and makes a chirpping noise. The chirpping is what got his attention first. Then it was the flapping wings. Our boy is 4 years old so he tires out pretty quickly, so his play sessions last for about 10 minutes at a time. With that said, he really enjoys the Automatic Flapping Bird Wings Cat Toy that we purchased for him through Amazon. It’s a nice addition to his kitty toys collection.
