Plush Faux Fur Round Cat Pet Bed

Over the past 2 decades I’ve purchased at least 2 dozen different pet beds for our kitty cats. Some of those pet beds were inexpensive while others cost a pretty penny. Cats can be finicky when it comes to their toys, food, treats and yes…beds!

Last month I decided to replace one of the four pet beds in our home for Romeo. I keep them in different rooms throughout our house. I purchased the BALANCE Cat Plush Faux Fur Pet Bed from Amazon after reading through the reviews. This one had all of the features that I was looking for and it was affordable.

It’s round shape and comes in a few different sizes. It has depth to it with sides (walls) that help your cat feel safe and secure when they’re sleeping. They like to feel enclosed. It has a non-slip bottom, tons of cushioning in the base and guess what? It’s machine washable! I wash all of our boy’s beds every 6-8 weeks to refresh them and to keep germs at-bay.

When washing pet beds I recommend you use a mild laundry soap or a pet laundry detergent, use the delicate cycle on your washing machine and run them through the rinse cycle at least twice. You want to make sure you get all of the soapy residue out so that it doesn’t irritate their skin. Hang them up to air dry. I don’t recommend tossing them into the dryer which breaks down the fabric and cushions inside. Just air dry them to get them to last a long time.

The BALANCE Cat Plush Faux Fur Pet Bed was an instant hit when it arrived in our home. Romeo gave it his “sniff” test and inspected it. Ten minutes later he climbed inside it and took a comfortable nap. It’s his new favorite cat bed in the entire house! It is worth every dime that I paid!
