We live in the suburbs of a medium-sized city. Our township does everything it can to keep our local community cleaned-up and beautiful. You don’t see rundown buildings or businesses, you don’t see trash lying around or litter clogging up the streets, etc. The community leaders and residents work together to keep it nice and clean.
One thing that I like seeing is the outdoor wall murals being painted around the area. They have local artists paint them on the sides of buildings, on underpasses or the sides of bridges. They add a beautiful POP of color to the local area while giving the artist a way to show off their artistic skills. I enjoy seeing the wall murals which are 100% better than seeing graffiti! So far…the vandals have left the wall murals alone. Yay!
I would love to see more cities, towns and communities adding wall murals to their buildings too. Around here…they get a lot of attention and attract visitors. They’re now painting some other things throughout the community which I think is cool too. As long as they don’t go over-board with it.
