How to Quickly and Easily Clean Your Crocs
My family loves Crocs footwear and we wear them all of the time! If I had to guess, I would say that there’s at least 8 pairs of Crocs currently in my household. With that said, just like any pair of shoes…they get dirty and need to be cleaned. I clean them seasonally and as-needed throughout the year.

When it comes to cleaning our Crocs I like to keep it easy. I will place them in the walk-in shower and spray them with Dawn Platinum Plus Powerwash Dish Soap. It’s a liquid dish soap that comes in a spray bottle. Why Dawn you might ask? Well, it does the best job at removing dirt, debris, grease, oily residue, odors, etc. from our Crocs!
Of course…you can only use this cleaning method if you have unlined Crocs like the ones shown in my photograph. Spray them with the Dawn and let them sit for 10-15 minutes. I then pull the shower head down (it’s a pull-down, hand-held shower head) and spray them down to get all of the liquid dish soap off of them. I let it rinse right down the drain.
I’m lazy, so I just let them sit in the walk-in shower to air dry. If you want to wear them right away…you could certainly towel dry them. If the weather is nice outside…you can take them outside to dry. This cleaning method works well for plastic and rubbery-type of flip-flops and sandals too.
Happy Spring Cleaning!
