Easy Chicken Tostada Salad Recipe
Last year I was introduced to the Chicken Tostada Salad for the first time. Every since that first bite, I’ve been hooked on them. Matter of fact, it’s my preferred way to eat a salad! When I make them at home, I often toss together whatever I have on hand.
Taste of Home has an easy Chicken Tostada Salad Recipe to get you started. In addition to their recipe I like to toss-on a big spooful of sour cream. I also add-in more chopped tomatoes and shredded cheese than what their recipe calls for. I’m not a big fan of Ranch Dressing, so I use Catalina or a good French Dressing.
When our backyard garden is giving us goodies I will toss-in a little bit of sliced cucumbers and chopped bell peppers too! Onions aren’t my thing but my husband likes a lot of chopped onions tossed onto his Chicken Tostada Salad. The point is…it’s a very versatile salad that you can add-in or swap-out whatever you like. It comes together quickly and is jam-packed with flavor. Much more than a traditional garden salad.
If you’ve never tried one…head on over to Taste of Home to grab their recipe (we don’t steal other people’s recipes and then publish as our own…that’s a no-no). Then feel free to “doctor it up” to suit your own needs.
