A year ago I discovered Swedish Dishcloths for the first time and have never looked back. I’ve been using them to hand-wash dishes, to wipe up my kitchen counters, etc. ever since! Once they start looking shabby, I retire them to my cleaning bin and use them all around the house when I’m cleaning. These dishcloths are super-attractive and very affordable.

You can find Swedish Dishcloths in various retail stores across the nation and on Amazon. Amazon has the best selection and most of the time the best prices. You’ll find dozens and dozens of different designs and as the seasons change you’ll see new ones hitting the market. I just purchased a new set from Briarwood Lane called Seaside Escape Swedish Dishcloths. So pretty!
I love the Swedish Dishcloths for a variety of reasons:
* Reusable.
* Launder in washing machine or in the dishwasher.
* Retain their shape, size and color.
* No pilling or snags.
* Super absorbent!
* Environmentally friendly!
Each Swedish Dishcloth absorbs up to 20X it’s weight. Each one will replace up to 17 rolls of paper towels. Wow, what a huge money-saver that is!!! Each one will last for up to 1 year and they dry super quickly….just hang to dry. Another thing that I love is that they don’t hold stains. I can wipe up spilled spaghetti sauce, ketchup, tomato soup, etc. and then launder the dishcloth. It comes out stain-free!
The ones that I purchase measure 7″ by 8″ in size and are made out of 70% cellulose and 30% cotton making them eco-friendly. They’re the perfect size for when I’m washing dishes or cleaning around my home. Finally, they take up a LOT LESS space in your linen closet or linens drawer than traditional dishcloths. I find that they ABSORB a lot more than microfiber too! They’re fantastic!
Looking to buy some new dishcloths for your kitchen? I highly recommend that you give Swedish Dishcloths a try!
