U. S. Navy Blue Angels Harrisburg Air Show

This past weekend the U.S. Navy Blue Angels were in town to put on an awesome air show at Harrisburg International Airport. We had really wanted to go to the show but 1. the admission tickets were too expensive and 2. the show sold out really quickly. Sigh, hopefully one of these times we will actually be able to attend.

Anyway, we live 10-15 minutes from the airport and we able to see the airshow from a distance. Even at a distance we were pleased with what we were able to see. We put our lawn chairs and tiki torches out in the backyard and enjoyed seeing them practice on Friday afternoon and then the air show was held Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

The weather was better on Friday so we got to see them more clearly. On Saturday it was partly cloudy and on Sunday we had clouds and rain showers. Regardless, we saw about an hour of the air show each day. For FREE….which we were happy about. Pretty awesome with what we could see!
