Tovolo Paring Knives with Covers – Perfect for Smaller Hands
Paring Knives are something I like to replace every year. Sharpening and resharpening paring knives doesn’t work for me. As a daily paring knife user…I need them to stay sharp, sturdy and clean. When shopping for paring knives I like buying ones that come with a protective cover (or sheath) which helps with their longevity.

Last month I purchased the Tovolo Elements Paring Knives from Amazon. They come in a 2-pack with their own sheaths (protective covers). They’re a nice compact size which means they fit easily into my small hands. They’re dishwasher safe, food safe and are BPA free. These paring knives are perfect for peeling, slicing and dicing your fruits and vegetables.
Each handle has a hole so that you can hang them up (if that’s how you like to store your knives) or you can store them flat in a drawer. I personally have a knife drawer and all of my sharp knives are stored in it with their sheaths on. The handles are sturdy and feel very comfortable in my hands. When using them I get great precision and control. They handle tough jobs like peeling and dicing potatoes to those “softer skin” jobs like slicing a fresh tomato.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive but good set of kitchen paring knives I highly recommend you check out the Tovolo Paring Knives on Amazon. Some retail stores across the nation carry this brand. I’ve seen them at Home Goods and Ross’s when I’ve been out and about too. With that said, Amazon has had the more affordable price.
