Memorial Day 2025

Every time Memorial Day rolls around my family takes the time to go visit local veteran’s graves and memorials. By doing this…we are teaching the kids in our family the real reason for Memorial Day. Sure, we all like to get together for a backyard barbecue and get a day off work…but seriously, way too many people forget what Memorial Day is really about.

Please take the time out of your schedule to thank a veteran for their service. Take the time to visit veteran’s graves, memorials or local ceremonies & events in your own community. Teach the kids in your family what Memorial Day is about. Freedom isn’t free…there’s a cost!!! We all owe veterans (past and current) a great deal of gratitude for their service.
