Next….you can find all kinds of different insect killing sprays and spider killing traps out in the retail marketplace. If you have small children and/or pets around…try a trap first instead of the spray. If that doesn’t work, then move onto an easy-to-use spray. Make sure you vacate the room for awhile and air-it-out after using any type of aerosol spray.
Ultrasonic and electric plug-ins are great alternatives to using traps and sprays. You simply plug them into an electrical outlet and they immediately go to work. There are different types available…some models attract the spiders and trap them inside while others send out an ultrasonic signal to help keep them away. Both types can work quite effectively in your home.
Finally…if you seem to be infested with spiders and none of the other methods have helped….you’ll need to call a pest controls specialist. They will come into your home and assess the situation. Once the assessment has been completed they’ll make recommendations on how to rectify the problem. After professional treatment, you’ll want to keep your home clean and on top of the problem so that it doesn’t reoccur.
