Grilled Beer Can Chicken Recipe
Grilling season is just starting here in the northeast. FINALLY. The first thing that I decided to make was a Grilled Beer Can Chicken. If you’ve never made one before you’re really miss out. This chicken is very flavorful and moist…inside and out. Very easy to prepare (you don’t need a lot of ingredients) and perfect for the barbecue grill or bake in the oven.

Grilled Beer Can Chicken Recipe
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. ground chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. ground paprika
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 can of beer
whole chicken
Remove the giblets pack and neck from the whole chicken. Rinse the chicken with water inside and out.
Place all of the ingredients except for the 1/2 can of beer into a small bowl. Stir them together to form the seasoning. Rub the seasoning all over the outside of the bird. Place the whole chicken on the 1/2 can of beer. Push it down onto the can until stable.
Preheat the grill (or the oven at 375 degrees F). Place it onto the grill and close the lid. Cook until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F. This should take approximately 1 1/2 hours. Use a Digital Meat Thermometer to check the temperature. Remove from the beer can and place on a platter. Carve. Serve immediately.
